Event Recap: Summer Sendoff at Current Boutique

On Sunday, August 19th, over 80 people attended the Summer Sendoff Shopping event at Current Boutique in Old Town, Alexandria. Blogger and owner of Kate Julian, LLC, Kate Julian of Then, Life Gave Me Lemons held the event to kick off fall shopping and promote small businesses in the area. Attendees enjoyed fabulous boutique shopping from some of the most desired labels, all under the Current Boutique roof. Patrons enjoyed Thai appetizers from Sam Phao, delicious desserts from Treats by Erica, and 20% off of the latest styles at Current. Attendees also received a gift bag with a piece of jewelry, the Scout Guide, VIP membership trial at Sport & Healthy Old Town, and more.

“The food is delicious, the space was cozy yet not crowded, the associates were nice and helpful, the drinks were flowing, and I am so happy with my purchase! Overall, a great event,” said Olivia Clepper, event attendee and Alexandria local.
